Bruins Finish Fourth at Pac 10/Big 10 Challenge

The 13th-ranked UCLA men's golf team finished fourth at the Pac 10/Big 10 Challenge, hosted by Northwestern University at The Glen Club in Glenview, IL

The Bruins posted a team score of 292 (+4) in the final round for a three-round total of 868 (+4). Northwestern won the event with a 54-hole score of 860 (-4) after posting a final round score of 285 (-3). Minnesota finished second at 863 (-1) and Arizona State placed third at 865 (+1).

Individually for UCLA freshman Erik Flores and sophomore Daniel Im tied for ninth place at 215 (-1). In the final round Flores posted a score of 73 and Im carded a 74. Junior Joakim Renstrom tied for 18th at 219 (+3) and freshman James Lee tied for 18th at 221 (+5). Sophomore Brandon Christianson tied for 60th at 233.

Northwestern's David Markow won medalist honors with a 54-hole score of 209 (-7) after firing a final round score of 68 (-4).
