USC Completes Weekend Sweep Over Oregon

LOS ANGELES -- Senior Staci Venski had a team-high 14 kills and .344 (14-3-32) hitting percentage as the No. 17 USC Women of Troy swept the Oregon Ducks, 3-0 (30-20, 30-19, 30-23), in Pac-10 Conference action at the Lyon Center.

USC won its third consecutive conference match, improving to 7-6 overall and 3-2 in Pac-10 play. Oregon falls to 10-7 on the season and 0-6 in conference.

The Women of Troy forced the Ducks into 21 hitting errors in the first two games as Oregon hit .000 in each game.

Bibiana Candelas had 11 kills for USC while libero Debora Seilhamer added 19 digs. Kelly Russell led the Ducks with 11 kills on the evening.

USC travels to No. 2 Washington on Friday (Nov. 11) at 7 p.m. and Washington State on Saturday (Nov. 12) at 6 p.m.
