Cho Tied For the Lead After First Round At Stanford Pepsi Intercollegiate

Stanford, Calif. - Senior Irene Cho is tied for first as she led the Trojans to a fourth place finish after the first day of the Stanford Pepsi Intercollegiate in Stanford, Calif.

Troy finished with 293 (+9) just one shot behind third place UNLV (292) and 10 shots behind leader Duke (283) in a 19-team field.

Cho is tied with UCLA's Amie Cochran after they fired a three-under par 68 on the afternoon. Cho is on pace for a record year, in her last outing she shot a career-low 67 to finish second at the Edean Ihlanfledt Invitational.

Juniors Veronica Felibert and Catalina Marin are tied for 18th after shooting a 73 (+2). Senior Tanya Dergal and Sophomore Dewi Schreefel finished with a 79 (+8), tied for 66.

The tournament continues Saturday and Sunday (Oct. 22-23).
