Olson and Medlock Named Pac-10 Players of the Week

Olson, a senior from Piedmont, Calif., set a UCLA single-game record with six touchdown passes in the Bruins' 51-28 win against Oregon State. Olson completed 16-of-24 (.667) passes for 262 yards with no interceptions and six touchdowns that covered 43, 20, 48, 2, 3 and 46 yards. Behind Olson, the UCLA offense put up 51 points and 497 yards total offense and had no turnovers. It marks the second time Olson has earned offensive player of the week honors this season, having previously been cited in UCLA's win against Oklahoma.
Medlock, a junior from Fremont, Calif., contributed to the UCLA win by connecting on three-of-three field goal attempts from 27, 47 and 37 yards. He also was perfect on six PAT attempts and six of his 10 kickoffs went for touchbacks.
Oshinowo, a senior from Naperville, Ill., keyed Stanford's defensive effort in the Cardinal's 45-35 upset win against Arizona State. Oshinowo had nine tackles, including four tackles for loss (-28) and three quarterback sacks (-23). Oshinowo's three quarterback sacks were part of Stanford's total of seven (-44).
