Tyler Ley Leads Trojans at Isleworth-UCF Collegiate Invitational

Windermere, Fl. - The USC men's golf team was in 11th place after 36 holes in the Isleworth-UCF Collegiate Invitational, hosted at the Isleworth Country Club in Windermere, Fl. The next 18 holes will be played Tuesday as Hurricane Wilma has already forced cancellation of Monday's round.
The Trojans are led by seniors Tyler Ley and Taylor Wood after the first day of play. Ley is tied for 17th at 145 after carding rounds of 73, 72 and Wood is two over after posting rounds of 73, 73 (146) and is tied for 24th. Teammate junior Jordan Nasser is tied for 40th after shooting 149 (76, 73) for the day while senior Bradley Shaw carded a 155 (74, 81) and is tied for 68th.
USC posted team scores of 299, 295 for a two-round total of 593. Wake Forest is in the lead with 569, followed by Georgia at 570 and Oklahoma State at 577.
Isleworth Country Club, home to the PGA Tour's Tiger Woods, Mark O'Meara, John Cook and many others, will provide a stern test From the Tiger tees, Isleworth Country Club is the longest and toughest course in the state of Florida.
