UW Men's Tennis Completes Final Day At Torero Challenge

SAN DIEGO, CALIF. - Washington men's tennis wrapped up play at the Torero Challenge winning two singles matches and one doubles match versus Pac-10 rival USC in the final day of the tournament hosted by the University of San Diego, Monday.
UW sophomore Andy Kuharszky defeated USC's Kaes Van't Hof at the top singles spot, while fellow sophomore Klaus Jank defeated Adam Loucks. Match scores were not made available for those contests. The UW doubles team of freshman Andy Gerst and junior Mike Ricks earned an 8-4 victory over Whit Livingston and Aaron Bardart, 8-4.
Up next for the Huskies, junior Alex Slovic will compete in singles and will join junior Daniel Chu as a doubles team at the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships, Nov. 3-6, hosted by Ohio State University.
