Stanford Men Finish 13th At CordeValle Collegiate

San Martin, Calif. - The Stanford men's golf team shot a final round of 295 to finish 13th at the CordeValle Collegiate with a two-day total of 884 (298-291-295). UCLA won the tournament by six strokes with a 15-under par 849. Northwestern was second (855), followed by California (859), Arkansas (859) and Texas (864).
Rounding out the top 10 were Arizona (873), North Carolina (876), Virginia (877), Augsta State (877) and Pepperdine (878).
California's Michael Wilson fired a five-under 67 today to finish first on the individual leaderboard, carding a 10-under 206 for the tourney. UCLA's Erik Flores tied for second with Henry Liaw from Arizona with a four-under 212. Three golfers tied for fourth with a three-under 213.
Stanford was led by junior Zack Miller who tied for 14th individually, posting a two-over 216 (73-69-74). Teammate Matt Savage tied for 34th after carding a three-round score of 220 (73-74-73). Freshman Daniel Lim shot a 225 (76-73-76) to tie for 53rd while fellow frosh Dodge Kemmer (76-75-76--227) and junior Matt Shin (79-76-72--227) were two strokes behind and tied for 58th.
