No. 20 Huskies Host Washington State

SEATTLE- The 20th ranked Washington women's swimming team plays host to Washington State on Friday at Husky Pool. The meet is slated for a 6 pm start.
The Husky women are coming off of a weekend of competition at the Big West Shootout last week. The Huskies went 6-2 at the meet, defeating UC Irvine (82-56), Cal Poly (110-12), Cal State University, Northridge (110-12), University of San Diego (98-37), UC Irvine (75-36) and UC Davis (76-35), while losing to No. 4 Stanford (83-20) and No. 18 Hawaii (68-43) to move their record to 9-2 on the season.
The Cougars have a 2-1 dual record, with wins over Idaho (184-78) and San Jose State (152-110) and a loss to California (94-168). Washington State also finished second at the Pacific Invitational the UBC Colleges Cup, which took place last weekend. The Cougars will be led by four NCAA Consideration qualifiers, Jane Copland, Kayli Changstrom, Erin McCleave and Monika Povilonyte.
