Women's Rowing to Attend the Head of the Lake Competition

THIS WEEK --
The UCLA Women's rowing team travels to Seattle, WA to compete in the annual Head of the Lake Competition on Sunday, Nov. 13th. One Varsity Eight team is scheduled to compete. Last year, the Bruins placed fourth in their first trip to Seattle.

The Varsity line up for Sunday includes Liz Pallas-Jacobs, Jessica Fritz, Erin Rice, Patricia Dudziec, Vanessa Teff, Erin Haggerty, Elizabeth Lee, Leah Watchel, and Kirsten Potenza (cox). The same crew competed at the Head of the Marina this past weekend.

The event, hosted by the Lake Washington Rowing Club, will start at the University of Washington Canoe House, go through Portage Bay and Lake Union, with the finish beyond the bridge in the Seattle Ship Canal. STAY TUNED --
The Head of the Lake cometition on Sunday will be the last race of the fall season. The Bruins will return to action on March 11 vs. Loyola Marymount for the start of the spring season.
