COUGARS HOST COWBOYS: The Washington State men's basketball team welcomes Wyoming to Friel Court for the first time in school history, Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 7 p.m.
ABOUT THE HEAD COACHES: Dick Bennett is 27-33 at Washington State and in his third season on the Palouse...owns a 481-290 career record (.623) in 27 collegiate seasons...guided Wisconsin to 2000 Final Four...Steve McClain is 126-82 in his seventh season at Wyoming.
SERIES WITH WYOMING: Wyoming leads 4-0...first time Cowboys have played WSU at Pullman...all other match-ups have been played at Wyoming's home court...last season, the Cougars lost 49-47 in Laramie despite outscoring the Cowboys 12-4 in the final 3:53...Thomas Kelati led the Cougars with 16 points, six rebounds and five assists.

THIS DATE IN COUGAR HISTORY: Washington State defeated Gonzaga 75-62 at the Spokane Arena, Nov. 30, 1996...Cougar defense was tough in the first half holding Bulldogs to 26.1 percent field goal shooting and forcing 15 Gonzaga turnovers in the first half...Gonzaga went scoreless for the final 3:43 of the opening period...WSU all-time leading scorer Isaac Fontaine tallied 17 of his game-high 19 points in the second half...four Cougars registered double-figure points.

BENCH SCORING: Washington State is averaging 26.3 points per game this season off the bench...Aron Baynes scored 19 points off the bench in the Cougars' 81-55 season-opening victory over UC Riverside, Nov. 19...against Idaho, Nov. 26, Cougar bench players tallied 31 points in 63-37 victory.
COUGARS NEAR PERFECT IN NOVEMBER: Washington State is 24-0 all-time in November at Friel Court...Cougars have won 24 straight November games in Pullman and are 26-1 all-time...only loss was 77-47 to Colorado State, Nov. 30, 1963.
PROTECTING THE HOUSE: In the last 16 seasons, the Cougars are 67-3 in Pullman against nonconference opponents...mark includes a 5-0 record in Bohler Gym during the 1990-91 campaign.
