Swimming To Host 57th Annual Husky Invitational

SEATTLE- The Washington swimming teams will host the 57th Annual Husky Invitational December 1-4 at Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way.

The meet will include 500 swimmers representing eight different states or provinces, including Pac-10 for Oregon State on the women's side. The meet will also feature numerous collegiate programs from the Northwest headlined by the University of Puget Sound, Willamette and Whitworth.

The meet will be formatted like the NCAA Championships with the 1000 freestyle event taking place on Thursday evening at 6 p.m. Competition over the next three days will include the preliminary races at 9:30 a.m. Event finals will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Team Championships will be awarded in college and club divisions as well as Individual High Point Awards for the top male and female swimmer.
