ASU Remains Undefeated with Win Over North Texas, 83-67

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Bryson Krueger scored a career-high 27 points to lead Arizona State past North Texas 83-67 Wednesday night.

The win pushed the Sun Devils' record to 4-0 for the first time since the 1994-95 season and only the second time in 20 years.

North Texas fell to 1-2 despite Kendrick Davis' 23 points.

Krueger was 8-of-13 from the field and made all five of his 3-point attempts. He also had five rebounds and three assists.

Serge Angounou finished with 12 points and seven rebounds for Arizona State.

The Sun Devils held North Texas center Jeffrey Simpson to eight points after he averaged 15 points and seven rebounds a game in the first two outings for the Mean Green. He was limited to 17 minutes by foul trouble.

The Sun Devils used a late 13-0 run en route to a 37-29 halftime lead.

Krueger scored seven straight points to give Arizona State a 53-40 lead with 14:04 remaining and the Mean Green never got closer than 10 from there.
