UCLA's Noelle Quinn Named U.S. Bank Pac-10 Women's Basketball Player of the Week

UCLA junior guard Noelle Quinn has been named the U.S. Bank Pac-10 Women's Basketball Player of the Week for Nov. 28- Dec. 4, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.
The Los Angeles, Calif., native recorded her 16th career 20-point game with a season-high 24 points in the Bruin's 92-54 win against UC Irvine. She also tied her career-high with three blocks and led the team with six assists against the Anteaters. UCLA is now 15-1 when Quinn scores 20 or more points.
In the Bruin's 76-63 win over Clemson, Quinn recorded her 14th career double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds. The 14 rebounds were one shy of her career high.
A 2005-06 preseason Wooden Award All-American candidate, Quinn was the 2004 Pac-10 Freshman of the Year and a honorable mention All-Pac-10 selection in 2005.
UCLA (4-2), has won four straight and will battle No. 20/19 Oklahoma tonight in Norman.
This is Quinn's sixth Pac-10 Player of the Week honor and UCLA's 34th weekly honor all-time.
