Andrew Carnahan Named to ESPN.com's All-Mayday Team

Jan. 4, 2006

TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizona State University offensive lineman Andrew Carnahan has been named to ESPN.com's All Mayday Team. The team, selected by College Football Hall of Famer Mark May, honors players who have demonstrated toughness throughout the 2005 College Football season.

Carnahan, a junior out of Hereford, Texas, earned the award by playing through numerous injuries during the season. Carnahan played with a broken finger, a fractured ankle and played most of ASU's Insight Bowl victory over Rutgers with a deep leg bruise that generally would have kept an athlete out of a game. Despite the list of ailments, Andrew was able to play in nine of the Sun Devils 12 games this season, missing three due to surgery on his hand.
