Cal Moves up to No. 2 Ranking

BERKELEY, Calif. - The California men's swimming & diving team moved up one spot to the No. 2 ranking in the latest College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) national top 25 rankings. Defending NCAA champion Auburn holds the top spot.

The swimming contingent of the Golden Bears are currently training at altitude in Colorado Springs, Colo., while the divers are training at Cal. The Bears next compete in a dual meet against Arizona State on Friday, Jan. 20, at 1 p.m. at Spieker Aquatics Complex. They complete their brief 2005-06 home schedule with a dual meet on Saturday, Jan. 21, at noon against Arizona also at Spieker.
