Chabala Garners Soccer Times All-America Honors

SEATTLE - Washington midfielder Mike Chabala was named to the 2005 Soccer Times College Coaches Men's All-American team, the magazine announced. Chabala received third-team accolades, his second All-America nod of the season after earning third-team NSCAA All-America honors last month.

In addition to a pair of All-America honors, Chabala was a first-team All-Region selection and a second-team All-Pac-10 honoree this year. Chabala led the Huskies to an overall record of 10-7-2 in 2005, ranking third on the team with eight points. He scored two goals and tallied a team-high four assists. He finished his career at Washington with 26 career points on five goals and 16 assists.

Chabala will participate in the 2006 Major League Soccer Player Combine, Jan. 12-15 at the Home Depot Center in Los Angeles, Calif.
