Men's Tennis Finishes Strong at the SDSU Invitational.

San Diego, Calif. - The Arizona State Men's Tennis Team finished the last day of competition today at the San Diego State University Invitational, where the Devils were able to take three of the five matches played on the day from the SDSU Aztecs.
First up for the Devils was new-comer Wes Miller who took on Benedikt Stronk, but was unable to defeat the Aztec as Miller fell in a 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 loss.
Following Miller was Christopher Biro, who played a tough, gritty match against SDSU's Christian Groh, who defeated Biro 6-3, 4-6, 10-6.
Hegarty took on Robert Sabo and walked away with a 6-2, 6-3 win over the Aztec while teammate Ryan McBride defeated Anthony Gomez 6-1, 6-2.
The last Devil up, Mike Beatty was able to make quick work of SDSU's Nima Ossareh with a 6-1, 6-0 win.
Doubles were not played on the final day of the San Diego State Invitational, which wrapped up the final tournament for the Sun Devils before dual action begins.
The Devils will kick off their 2006 season on January 25, taking on the Lumberjacks of NAU at home in Tempe's Whiteman Tennis Center.
The match is set to start at 1:30 p.m.
