Former USC golfer David Oh secured a spot in the PGA's Buick Invitational at Torrey Pines in San Diego, Calif., after finishing among the top 4 out of 79 golfers at the Buick Invitational Monday qualifying at El Camino C.C. in Oceanside, Calif.
Oh, who played at USC from 2000 to 2003, finished tied for second with a 6-under 66. He reached 66 with two birdies (among his six) on the final two holes.
Oh, who also played in the Buick Invitational in 2004, will join former Trojans Kevin Stadler, Roger Tambellini and Hunter Mahan when the tournament begins Thursday (Jan. 26). It runs through Sunday (Jan. 29) at Torrey Pines G.C. in La Jolla, Calif. That's also the site of the 2008 U.S. Open.
