Drew Olson to Participate in All-Star Challenge

UCLA quarterback Drew Olson is among 12 future NFL players who will compete in the eighth annual Capital One College Football All-Star Challenge. The nationally televised event will be taped Monday, January 30th, in Dolphins Stadium and will begin at 1:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
The taped event will air on ESPN on Saturday, February 4.
All spectators that attend the event will have the chance to go on the field at Dolphins Stadium to view the action and take part in a post-event autograph session.
Texas quarterback and Rose Bowl MVP Vince Young headlines this year's field. Also scheduled to compete are: Olson, Alabama quarterback Brodie Croyle, Memphis running back DeAngelo Williams, Maryland tight end Vernon Davis, University of Florida wide receiver Chad Jackson, Miami wide receiver Sinorice Moss and Clemson quarterback Charlie Whitehurst.
The Capital One College Football All-Star Challenge is a unique skills-and-drills competition that tests the finest college football stars in the country prior to their entry into the NFL. Players compete in a variety of competitions showcasing their speed, agility, strength and stamina. In the seven-year history of the event, twenty-four competitors have gone on to become first round selections in the NFL Draft. Former competitors include Daunte Culpepper, Donovan McNabb, Edgerrin James, Ron Dayne, Drew Brees, Santana Moss, Deuce McAllister, Javon Walker, Rex Grossman, Ken Dorsey, Charles Rogers, Cadillac Williams and many more.
