Bruins Fall on Road to No. 18 Arizona State, 87-70

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Kristen Kovesdy scored 18 points and grabbed five rebounds to lead No. 18 Arizona State over UCLA 87-70 on Thursday night.

The Sun Devils (17-5, 8-4 Pac-10) have now won three straight games and are 11-0 at home this season.

UCLA (12-9, 7-5) had won two in a row and four of its past six games.

Noelle Quinn finished with a season-high 30 points and Nikki Blue added 16 points and seven rebounds for the Bruins, who were called for three technical fouls in the second half after Arizona State opened up a double-digit lead.

Amy Denson added 11 points and six rebounds for the Sun Devils while Reagan Pariseau had a season-high 10 points, all in the first half.

Arizona State, up 43-26 at halftime, led by as much as 23 in the second half and UCLA never got closer than 15.
