Men's Golf Tied For 16th At UH Hilo Intercollegiate

Hilo, Hi. - The Stanford men's golf team shot a 284 in the first round of the UH Hilo Intercollegiate at the Waikoloa Village Golf Course and are tied for 16th.Georgia Tech has a four-stroke lead over Oklahoma State. The Yellowjackets turned in a 16-under-par, 268 followed by OSU (272), USC (274), Hawaii (275), Pepperdine (277), Washington, Oklahoma and Texas (279), Arizona State and Augusta Sate (280), Fresno State (281), TCU (282), Colorado, UC Davis and Oregon State (283), Stanford and Arkansas (284), Rhode Island (287), host Hawaii Hilo and Oregon (288) and Kansas (296).

Oklahoma State University's Pablo Martin shot a tournament leading 7-under-par, 64 to take the first round lead.

The Cardinal were led by Rob Grube (34-37), Dodge Kemmer (33-38), Zack Miller (33-38) and Matt Savage (35-36) who all shot an even par 71 today and are tied for 45th individually. Stanford's Daniel Lim shot a 74 (34-40) and is tied for 86th.
