Men's Golf Tied for Ninth Place After First Round of the UH Hilo Intercollegiate

After shooting a first round total of 280, the Arizona State men's golf team is tied for ninth place with Augusta State at four-under par during the first round of the UH Hilo Intercollegiate.

Georgia Tech holds the first place spot after shooting a 16-under 268.

Sun Devils Alejandro Canizares and Niklas Lemke lead ASU individually with a two-under 69 and are tied for 21st. Benjamin Alvarado and Charly Simon shot an even-par 71 to tie for 45th. Lenny Park rounds out the Sun Devils shooting a two-over 73 and is currently tied for 74th.

The UH Hilo Intercollegiate will continue Feb. 9-10 at the Waikoloa Village Golf Course in Hilo, Hawai'i.
