Grunfeld and Hernandez Tabbed To ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Team

Stanford, Calif. - Stanford men's basketball players Dan Grunfeld (River Hills, WI) and Chris Hernandez (Fresno, CA) were first team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District men's basketball team selections as announced by CoSIDA. Both players are now eligible for national academic honors.

Grunfeld, who returned this year after having ACL surgery last season, has started all 20 games for the Cardinal this year and is averaging 12.4 points and 5.8 rebounds.

Hernandez, who was tabbed Pac-10 Player of the Week this week, has also started all 20 games for Stanford and is averaging 13.7 points and 3.25 assists.
