Stanford Women Finish Eighth At Regional Challenge

Palos Verdes, Calif. - The Stanford women's golf team shot a final round of 305 at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge this afternoon to finish eighth overall with a combined three-day score of 921. Arizona State won the event by a stroke with a 892 (+40), followed by USC (893), California (908), Wake Forest (909) and Oklahoma State (910). Rounding out the top 10 are UCLA (914), Pepperdine (919), Stanford (921), Arkansas (922) and Ohio State (923).

USC's Iren Cho took top individual honors carding a one-over 214 for the tournament. ASU's Jennifer Osborn took second with a two-over 215. Cal's Sofie Andersson was third (217). Three players tied for fourth at 220.

Stanford's Kelly Husted finished tied for eighth individually after shooting a final round of 74 today (73-77-74--224). Teammate Jennifer Tangtiphaiboontana Tied for 26th with a 230 (79-76-75) while Mari Chun tied for 34th (75-79-79--233). Cardinal Stephanie Lue turned in a 237 (81-79-77) to tie for 53rd and Ki-Shui Liao tied for 60th with a 240 (79-84-79).
