Cal-USC Game to Start at 5 p.m.

BERKELEY - Cal's March 4 men's basketball game vs. USC will tip off at 5 p.m. from Haas Pavilion and will be televised locally on Comcast SportsNet. The start time had initially been listed as TBA.
With its addition to the Comcast SportsNet lineup, it means 16 of Cal's 18 Pac-10 games will appear on live TV during the 2006 season. In addition, 21 of the Bears' 27 regular-season contests for the entire year will be televised, including every road game.
This week, Cal visits Washington State at 5:30 p.m. Thursday and Washington at 5 p.m. Saturday. Both contests will be shown on Fox Sports Net.
Comcast SportsNet, which also airs the weekly Cal Sports Report, can be seen throughout Northern California. The channel is broadcast in the San Francisco Bay Area on Channel 400 (Comcast digital subscribers), Channel 656 (DirecTV) and Channel 409 (Dish Network).
