Stanford Women Place 13th At Arizona Invitational

Tucson, Ariz. - The Stanford women's golf team shot rounds of 292 and 294 on the final day of competition at the Arizona Wildcat Invitational in Tucson, Arizona. Their three-round score of 885 (+33) put them in 13th place for the tournament. Arizona State took top team honors, winning by six strokes, with a 12-under par 840. Duke was second (846), followed by California (859), UCLA (859) and Auburn (864).
Vanderbilt's Jacqui Concolino was the individual medalist after firing a nine-under 204 for the invitational. California's Sophia Sheridan was second only a stroke off the pace. Four players tied for third at four-under 209.
Lauren Todd led the Cardinal with a tied for 17th individually after carding a 214 for the tournament (71-71-72). Teammate Jennifer Tangtiphaiboontana tied for 34th with a six-over 219 (73-75-71). Cardinal Kelly Husted finished tied for 37th (72-74-74--220) a stroke behind Tangtiphaiboontana. Stephanie Lue placed 70th overall with a 232 (80-75-77) while Kui-Shui Liao finished 94th (81-82-90--253).
