This Week - Washington State gears up for the Pacific-10 Conference opener against No. 1 Stanford (9-0) Friday, Feb. 24, at 1:30 p.m. in Lewiston, Idaho...Cougars host No. 9 California (6-3) Saturday, Feb. 25, at noon in Spokane.

Cougars Against Two Top Ten Teams - This is the first time the Cougars will play two top 10 teams in the same weekend since March, 2003, when the Cougars played No. 2 Stanford and No. 4 California...past two times the Cougars have met the Cardinal in conference play Stanford was rank No. 1.

Toth's Winning Percentage - Junior Amy Toth currently has a record of 14-4, which would put her on the season winning percentage top ten with .778...she currently leads the team in dual match victories with six.

Impact From Newcomers - Freshman Bianca Selaru continues her dual match success with a record of 4-0...her most recent win came over Oregon's Monica Hoz de Vila, 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-5)...junior transfer Marjolein van de Ven leads the newcomers in dual match wins with a record of 5-2 and overall wins with a record of 14-5.
