PALO ALTO, Calif. - The first of four sessions of competition at the 2006 Pac-10 Wrestling Championships came to a close with the Arizona State University wrestling team sitting second in the chase for the team title Sunday afternoon at Maples Pavilion in Palo Alto, Calif. Six individuals remain in contention for conference gold as well which has helped the Sun Devils accumulate 52.5 points, trailing only Cal Poly (55.0) in the team standings. Oregon State (48.5), CS Bakersfield (45.5) and Boise State (31.5) round out the Top 5.

Through two rounds of matches, ASU has Jeremy Mendoza (125), Brian Stith (157), Patrick Pitsch (165), C.B.
