WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - CALIFORNIA senior Haley Woods has been named the Pac-10 Softball Player of the Week for Mar. 1-6, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

Woods hit three home runs (including a grand slam) in Cal's 8-0 five-inning win over Florida International. She is only the second player in the Pac-10 to hit three home runs in a game in the last 11 years. Washington's Kristen Rivera last accomplished the feat in 2003.
