ASU Diving To Compete In Zone E Diving Championships

TEMPE, Ariz. (www.thesundevils.com) -- Arizona State University men's and women's diving travels to Oklahoma City, Okla. Thursday for the Zone E Diving Championships. The meet will last until Saturday, March 11.

ASU senior diver Joona Puhakka (Helsinki, Finland) won the one-meter and three-meter springboards at the Pac-10 Diving Championships held in Federal Way, Wash. Feb. 23-25. At the Pac-10s, Puhakka became the first diver in Pac-10 history to win the one-meter and three-meter Pac-10 titles four years in a row. Puhakka is also a six-time Zone E champion winning both the one-meter and three-meter springboards three straight years.
