March 16, 2006

FRESNO, Calif. - The Washington State University baseball team will play a Friday (March 17) doubleheader as part of the revised Johnny Quik Classic schedule after Tuesday's rain postponed two games, including the WSU-Binghamton contest.

The Cougars will face Binghamton Friday at 1 p.m. as part of a doubleheader that has WSU also facing Gonzaga at 4 p.m. The WSU-Gonzaga contest has not changed from the original schedule.

WSU faces host Fresno State Thursday evening in a battle of the only unbeaten teams remaining in the Johnny Quik Classic. WSU enters with a 17-4 record, 2-0 this week, while the Bulldogs are 3-0 so far this week and boast a 16-8 record. First pitch in tonight's contest is scheduled for 7 p.m.
