Saturday's Stanford-Washington State Pac-10 Opener Moved To 5 PM, PT

March 25, 2006

Stanford, Calif. - Weather conditions have pushed back the start time to 5 pm, PT, for Saturday's scheduled Pac-10 opener between No. 17 Stanford (11-7, 0-0, Pac-10) and Washington State (18-6, 0-0 Pac-10) at Sunken Diamond. The final two games of the series are still scheduled for Sunday (1 pm, PT) and Monday (11 am, PT).

The postponement marks the fourth time this season Stanford's scheduled has been altered due to weather condition.

Stanford Baseball Rainout PolicyIf postponed game is rescheduled as a single game (applies to March 24 game versus Washington State):
• All tickets with the original date will be honored on the day of the makeup game.
• Single-game purchases may be exchanged for comparable tickets to any remaining regular-season game.

If postponed game is rescheduled as part of a doubleheader:
• For the convenience of our season ticket holders, Sunken Diamond will not be cleared between games. One ticket will allow you to watch both games of the doubleheader. Only the ticket with the proper date will be honored.
• Single-game purchases may be exchanged for comparable tickets to any remaining regular-season game. Reserved tickets must be returned for replacement to avoid duplication. General admission tickets will be honored at the gate and need not be exchanged if used on the day of the doubleheader.

If postponed game is unable to be rescheduled:
• Single-game purchases may be exchanged for comparable tickets to any remaining regular-season game.

Please contact the Stanford Athletic Ticket Office at 1-800-STANFORD between 9 am and 4 pm, Monday through Friday, with any questions.
