Blythe Hartley, Connor Hall Named Pac-10 All-Academic First Team

USC senior diver Blythe Hartley was named a 2006 Pac-10 All-Academic women's swimming and diving first team selection and junior Connor Hall earned first-team honors on the men's side, the Pac-10 announced on Wednesday (March 29).

Hartley, who won two NCAA titles at the recently completed 2006 NCAA Championships, had a 3.60 GPA in communications for her third first-team selection. Hall had a 3.57 GPA in biomedical engineering to earn his second consecutive first-team nod.

Women's divers Kathryn Lewallen and Ali Tycast were both second team picks, as was men's swimmer Greg Barone.

Women's honorable mention selections included Brittany Allen, Cait Connealy, Lindsay Draper, Emily Goetsch, Whitney Hentzen, Sheva Khalafbeigi, Eileen Osmun, Kate Polich and Kristina Sieper. Bradley Thompson was also a men's honorable mention pick.
