Ley, Nasser Lead Troy At Morris Williams

Tyler Ley and junior Jordan Nasser turned in identical rounds of 74 and 71 to finish the first two rounds 1-over on Monday (April 3) at the Morris Williams Intercollegiate at the Austin (Texas) Country Club.

Oklahoma State leads the 18-team tournament with a two-round, one-day total of 566 (-10). USC is in ninth at 582 after rounds of 290 and 292.

Nasser's rounds included seven birdies and Ley had five, helping them to tie for 23rd.

One shot behind them stood senior Taylor Wood and junior Joshua Wooding, whose 146s left them tied for 30th. Wood had a 3-under 69 to open the tournament before a 77 while Wooding posted back-to-back 73s.

Senior Bradley Shaw finished tied for 71st with a 153 after a 75 and a 78.
