Voluntary Donations To Be Accepted For Angelo Richardson Fund At Annual ASU Spring Football Game April 15

April 6, 2006

TEMPE, Ariz. (www.thesundevils.com) -- At the annual Arizona State University spring football game April 15, voluntary donations will be accepted for the Angelo Richardson Fund. Voluntary donations for the fund will be accepted by cash or check, but checks are encouraged.

In March 2006, Richardson, of Danville, Calif., was accidentally struck by a .45 caliber bullet and he still does not have feeling in his legs. Richardson is going through rehabilitation at the Kaiser Permanente Rehabilitation Center in Vallejo, Calif. The Arizona State University football staff recruited Richardson out of Santa Rosa Junior College and he was going to join the Sun Devils in the fall.

This legitimate foundation is being run by two friends of the Richardson family: Mike Keller (QB Sam Keller's father) and Doug Mathers (a close family friend of Angelo's). Donations can also be sent to this address:
