USC Back In The National Top 25

LOS ANGELES -- The USC baseball team, currently in first place in the Pac-10 Conference with a 7-2 record, has been ranked No. 20 nationally according to the Baseball America poll released today. USC is 20-14 on the season and has won seven of its last 11 games, along with five consecutive weekend series.

The Trojans are batting .322 as a team with a .974 fielding percentage. The starting rotation of Ian Kennedy, Ryan Cook and Tommy Milone has a combined 2.36 ERA in Pac-10 play this season.

USC hosts UC Riverside tomorrow in a 5 p.m. game at Dedeaux Field before another key Pac-10 series at second place No. 13 Arizona State, Thursday-Saturday (April 13-15). All four games will be broadcast live on

Tomorrow's game is also a Taco Tuesday with El Cholo Restaurant selling freshly-made tacos for $1 each at Dedeaux Field.
