This Week - The Washington State women's tennis team (12-11) prepares to host No. 61 South Alabama (11-7) in a nonconference match...match is scheduled to be played Sunday, April 16 at the Stadium Way Tennis Center in Pullman, Wash. at 11 a.m.

This Week's Opponent - The University of South Alabama enters Sunday's match riding a major victory against 68th-ranked Louisiana-Lafayette...Jaguars are currently undefeated in the Sun Belt Conference, and will compete against two conference foes before making the trip to the Palouse...South Alabama is led by No. 91 Adrianna Solarova...she has won nine of her last 10 dual matches, three of which came against ranked opponents.

Cougar Success - Junior Transfer Marjolein van de Ven cracked the singles victory Top-10 list, after winning her 23rd match of the season...Delft, Netherlands native is tied for seventh place with eight other women...sophomore Ekaterina Burduli is a match shy from entering the Top-10 list as she has 22 wins this season...junior Amy Toth is three wins away...three matches and the Pacific-10 Conference Championships remain for the Cougars.

Doubles Play - Freshman Maria Ring and tandem partner Toth are four wins away from cracking the Top-10 doubles season victory list after defeating No. 43 Arizona State's Roxanne Clarke/Kady Pooler...Burduli and van de Ven have had success in doubles play as they have accumulated an 8-2 record...coming off a win against Arizona, the tandem is on track to enter the Top-10 doubles winning percentage with .800, currently good enough for third place.
