Craddock Runs Season-Best in 110mH at Sun Angel Classic

In just his second running this season of the 110m high hurdles, freshman Kevin Craddock ran a season-best, dropping his regional qualifier to 14.01 to finish second overall at the Sun Angel Classic in Tempe, AZ.

Also at Sun Angel, senior Craig Everhart placed second in the 400m, running 46.10, while freshman Elijah Wells finished 15th in 47.92. In the 400m hurdles, junior Tracy Session finished 11th in a time of 53.44.

Freshman Alex Pearlstone placed 19th (11.10) in the 100m and 16th (22.42) in the 200m, while fellow freshman Garland West was 21st in the 100m (11.19) and 18th in the 200m (22.76).

At Mt. SAC Relays, freshman Boldizsar Kocsor improved on his lifetime-best and regional qualifier, throwing 202-5 for 13th-place. His mark bettered his freshman record (which he set last week at the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational) by over a foot (old best, 201-3)

Also at SAC, senior Martell Munguia, running in the Olympic development section of the 800m, finished fifth overall, running 1:51.31.

In the triple jump, also at Mt. SAC, sophomores Michael Johnson (49-7.75) and Dominique Easterling (49-4.25) finished ninth and 10th, respectively.

Up next for the Bruins
The majority of the Bruins will be off next week as the team prepares for the annual dual meet battle with USC (April 29). Those that will compete next weekend, will head south to San Diego for the UCSD Triton Invitational.
