Rob Grube Wins U.S. Intercollegiate Presented By The Maple Fund

Stanford, Calif. - Heavy rains forced the cancellation of the final round of the U.S. Intercollegiate presented by The Maple Fund today at the Stanford Golf Course. UCLA was declared the winner of the tournament as the two-round leader from yesterday with a score of 578. USC was second at 579 and the Stanford men's golf team took third with a 580.
Cardinal Rob Grube took individual medalist honors with his two-round score of 135 which included a 54 in yesterday's afternoon round. Teammate Zack Miller is tied for ninth with a 144 (70-74) while Daniel Lim checks in tied for 28th (71-78) with a 149. Matt Savage is tied for 50th after carding a 153 today (77-76) and Scott MacDonald is tied for 54th (77-77--154).
Kyle Gentry, competing as an individual, is tied for second overall with a 141 after posting rounds of 69 and 72 today. Dodge Kemmer, also competing as an individual, is tied for 18th at 147 (79-68). Matt Shin, is tied for 73rd (82-75--157) as an individual as well.
