Softball Hosts 'Little League Day' Saturday

April 19, 2006

SEATTLE-- The Washington softball team will host 'Little League Day' on Saturday, April 22. The event will coincide with Washington's 2 p.m. game against ninth-ranked Oregon State and will take place at the Husky Softball Stadium on the University of Washington campus.

Up to 450 Little League players and their parents can attend the game at no charge and sit in the outfield stands. After the game, the Little League players will be permitted onto the field to interact with the college players and get autographs. With Washington's original 'Autograph Day' being rained out on April 15, Saturday will also serve as the team's official 'Autograph Day'. Washington softball team posters will be handed out at the event.

Little League players are required to wear their uniform shirt and should have their Official Little League patch sewn onto the left shoulder of their jersey in order to be identified for free admission.

Infield seats are available at a rate of $6 per seat.
