UW Men's Soccer Hosts Seattle Sounders Wednesday Night

SEATTLE - The Washington men's soccer team will host the Seattle Sounders, Wed., April 19, at 7 p.m. at Husky Soccer Field. Admission is free. The Sounders' roster features former Huskies C.J. Klaas, Jake Sagare and Ben Somoza.

The match is a part of the Huskies' spring schedule that continues through April 29 and will be preceded by a contest between UW and Seattle Pacific at 5 p.m., also at Husky Soccer Field.

Washington is coming off a 1-1 draw with Oregon State in Corvallis, April 15. Junior Kevin Forrest, returning from a redshirt year due to injury, scored the Huskies' lone goal and was assisted by Steve Mohn.

Tonight's match will be the final preseason contest for the Sounders before opening USL play on April 23 versus the Minnesota Thunder.

Washington concludes its spring schedule hosting a double header with Portland and Western Washington on Saturday, April 29, beginning at noon.
