Men's Soccer Wraps Spring Schedule Hosting Portland Saturday

SEATTLE - Coming off a 1-0 victory over the Seattle Sounders last Wednesday, Washington men's soccer will wrap its spring season hosting Northwest rival Portland at Husky Soccer Field, Saturday, April 29, at noon.

Junior forward Kevin Forrest provided the Huskies' with their lone goal against the Sounders, his second straight after scoring in a 1-1 draw with Oregon State, April 15. Freshman goalkeeper Rylan Hawkins was credited with the shutout versus the defending USL First Division champions. Both Forrest and Hawkins used redshirt seasons in 2005.

Washington will open the 2006 season hosting UC Davis Friday, August 25, at 7 p.m. at Husky Soccer Field.
