Junior Jordan Nasser led USC with a 1-under 70 and senior Tyler Ley remained strong with a par-71 to pace the Trojans during the third round of the USC-hosted 2006 Pac-10 Men's Golf Championship at the Canyons Course at Bighorn G.C., in Rancho Mirage, Calif., on Tuesday (April 25).

USC finished in fifth at 1083 (+18, 364-354-365). UCLA remained in front, though its lead dipped a bit. The Bruins finished at 1059 (-6, 349-348-362), six shots ahead of Washington at 1065 (Even, 352-352-361). Arizona (360-363-353) and Arizona State (367-360-349) were tied in third at 1076. Following USC was Stanford at 1086 (+21, 358-369-359), Oregon State at 1102 (+37, 361-369-372), California at 1108 (+43, 371-372-365), Washington State at 1118 (+53, 371-374-373) and Oregon at 1130 (+65, 373-384-373).

Ley is tied for fifth with a 1-under 212 (74-67-71), seven shots behind leader Daniel Im of UCLA (205, 67-68-70). Nasser is in 15th at 215, (+2, 74-71-70). Nasser's consistent day featured three birdies.

Junior Joshua Wooding started and finished tied for 16th, finishing with a 216 (+3, 74-70-72). Senior Taylor Wood is tied for 31st at 221 (+8, 71-76-74) and freshman Tom Glissmeyer is tied for 35th at 222 (+9, 71-73-78). Senior Bradley Shaw rounded out the Trojan players in 55th at 231 (+18, 76-73-82).

The final round will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
