Troy 4th At Women's Pac-10 Championships

The USC women's golf team remained in the thick of things after the second round of the 2006 Pac-10 Women's Golf Championship at Oro Valley C.C., in Tucson, Ariz., on Tuesday (April 24), entrenched in fourth.

The Women of Troy had a combined 302 to give them a two-day 595 (+19). UCLA leads with a 578 (+2) and is followed by Arizona State (586, +10), California (594, +18), USC, Oregon State (605, +29), Washington (608, +32), Arizona (609, +33), Stanford (610, +34), Washington State (615, +39) and Oregon (633, +57).

Senior Irene Cho remains USC's top scorer at 147 (+3), tied for 10th after a 76 on Tuesday. USC sophomore Paloa Moreno is tied for 13th at 149 (+5) after a 76, while junior Veronica Felibert is tied for 16th at 150 (+6) after a 79.

Sophomore Dewi-Claire Schreefel and junior Catalina Marin, tied for 33rd with 78s in round one, remained tied (in 26th) after carding USC-high 75s to stand at 153 (+9).

UCLA's Amie Cochran leads individually at 141 (-3).

The final round begins at 8:30 a.m. (MST) on Wednesday.
