Spring Football Game Set For Saturday, April 29

Stanford will conclude its spring football practice schedule on Saturday, April 29 with the annual Cardinal-White Spring Game. This year's game will be played on the Football Practice Field located next to Maples Pavilion. A Youth Football Skills Clinic and a Cheerleading Clinic, along with player autographs, will take place following the game. Festivities begin at 10:45 am and everything is free!!

The first 500 kids (14 & under) to register will receive a free Stanford Football T-Shirt. The Cardinal-White Spring Game will provide fans with their first look at the 2006 Cardinal.

Following the game, a Youth Football Skills Clinic with members of the Stanford football team, and a Cheerleading Clinic will begin at 12:45 pm. Players and coaches will be available for autographs beginning at 1:25 pm.

Stanford opens the 2006 season on September 2 at Oregon. The first game in the New Stanford Stadium is scheduled for September 16 vs. Navy.
