USC Race to Conclude Rowing Regular Season

In the final race of the regular season, the Bruins will take on cross-town rival USC this Saturday, April 29th in San Pedro, Calif. Lexus Gauntlet points are on the line as the Bruins contend against a very talented Trojan team. USC's V8 is ranked No. 3 in the latest Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association poll while the Bruin's V8 sits at No. 15.

Last year's match-up resulted in a USC victory in the V8, a tie in the 2V8 and UCLA victories in the V4 and N8. Coming off an impressive performance at the Miller Cup, the Bruins hope to carry their momentum into this weekend's competition. UCLA's V8 is undefeated in dual meets this season.

The projected lineups are as follows:
Varsity 8: Vanessa Teff (stroke), Patricia Dudziec, Liz Pallas-Jacobs, Elizabeth Herron, Elizabeth Lee, Alexandra Howard, Erin Rice, Erin Haggerty, Kirsten Potenza (cox).
Second Varsity 8: Leah Wachtel (stroke), Bailey Blosser, Jessica Fritz, Vanessa Jansen, Brittany Merchant, Sarah Lombardo, Katja Wanberg, Alexis Kalionzes, Megan McQuown (cox).
Varsity 4: Victoria Kaso (stroke), Jennifer Weber, Candace Ferguson, Maida Habibovic, Chanel Suares (cox).
Novice 8: Laura Garnett (stroke), Bree Hemingway, Katie Virk, Kerry Kilduff, Megan Lightfoot, Sheerin Salimi, Laura Ferretti, Jennifer Truong, Emily Wachtel (cox).

Both the men's and women's teams will be competing on Saturday with the first race scheduled for 8:50am. The women's racing schedule is as follows:

9:00am - V4
9:20am - V8
10:00am - 2V8
11:00am - N8
