Matt Gentry Readies for the 2006 Canadian Senior Nationals

Stanford, Calif. - Volunteer assistant coach and 2005 NCAA Champion Matt Gentry will head north this weekend to compete at the 2006 Canadian Senior Nationals in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Competition will begin on Friday at the University of Saskatchewan Physical Activities Centre, with the tournament concluding on Sunday.

Last weekend, Gentry took third place at the University Nationals in Evanston, Ill., topping his previous sixth-place performance at the U.S. Senior Nationals earlier in the month.

Gentry holds dual citizenship with Canada and the U.S., as his mother was born and raised in British Columbia and did not give up her citizenship after marrying and moving to the United States.
