Dawgs To Face Portland Today

The Washington baseball team begins its final week of non-conference action today, Tuesday, May 16, when the Huskies travel to face Portland in the two teams' sixth and final meeting of the year.

The Huskies (32-23) are expected to send freshman right-hander Bryce Mooney (3-3) to the mound to face probable Portland starter Sean Sargent (3-10). Game time is 3:00 p.m. at Joe Etzel Field. You can listen to the game live on the 'Dawg Channel' at gohuskies.com.

This Friday through Sunday, the Huskies travel to Stockton, Calif., for their first time ever to take on Pacfic (26-22) in a three-game series. Friday's first game begins at 2:00 p.m. Saturday's game time has changed to 3:00 p.m. while Sunday's first pitch has been moved up an hour to 12 noon.
