Ten Bruins Earn Pac-10 Academic Acclaim

The Pac-10 announced the recipients of the 2006 All-Academic Team honors, with 10 Bruins being selected for the distinction. The Bruins also had 10 members on the 2005 All-Academic team.
Senior Sarah Lombardo and junior Elizabeth Lee were selected on the first team; second-team selections included seniors Lora Batina and Liz Pallas-Jacobs and juniors Clara Cartwright, Megan McQuown, Brittany Merchant, Erin Rice and Leah Wachtel; and sophomore Erin Haggerty was an honorable mention selection.
To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade-point average, and either be a starter or a significant substitute.
This is the third consecutive selection for Pallas-Jacobs.
