Day One of Women's College World Series Delayed

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - Due to rain and inclement weather, game one of the Women's College World Series between Arizona and Oregon State has been delayed. An estimated start-up time has not been decided yet.

Game One of the tournament was halted in the bottom of the fifth inning with the Wildcats due up with a score of 2-1 in favor of Arizona after the 'Cats grabbed two runs in the bottom of the third and Oregon State's Brianne McGowan hit a solo home run in the top of the fifth.

If the weather permits, the tournament will continue today with the conclusion of the Arizona/Oregon State game followed with the Arizona State/Texas match-up.
